When Manchester United officially launched their costumes home, Chelsea turned out to have been first issued their away shirt designs. Interestingly, in this costume of The Blues will be back wearing a black base color, like a few years ago.
Last season, Chelsea away shirt wearing a dark blue base color with horizontal stripes and the adidas stripes on the arms manufacturers distinctive bright yellow color.
While this season, Chelsea away shirt is black vertical stripes lightly browned. Strip on the sleeve remains there even though this time colored gold.
This costume will be charged the first time officially when Chelsea meet in the party's pre-season Hamburger SV, 4 August.
