Liverpool drawn in Group A with Udinese, Young Boys and strong Russian club, Anzhi Makhachkala. Meanwhile, Tottenham are in Group A with Panathinaikos, Lazio and Maribor.
While representatives of the UK and Italy remaining, Newcastle United, Inter Milan and Napoli face opponents relatively lighter. Newcastle are in Group D with Girondins Bordeaux, Club Brugge and Maritimo. While Inter have faced three Eastern European representatives, Rubin Kazan, Partizan Belgrade and Neftçi. Napoli will face PSV alone Eindhovenm Dnipro and AIK in Group F.
